Electrical rough-in during framing — Romex wiring runs, outlet boxes, and a new breaker panel in a Wasatch Front home under construction
Overview

What this service covers.

New construction electrical happens in two phases. During rough-in — while framing is exposed — we run all the wiring, set all the boxes, and install the panel. After drywall and paint, we return for trim-out: outlets, switches, fixtures, and final connections. We handle the permit, schedule the inspection, and stay on the job until it passes.

The framing phase is also the best time to plan for future needs — EV charger circuits, hot tub feeds, generator transfer switch pre-wire, smart home wiring, or sub-panels for a shop or detached garage. Once the walls are closed, adding these costs significantly more.

We work directly with general contractors, custom home builders, and individual homeowners. We know how to coordinate with framers, HVAC trades, and plumbers to keep the project on schedule. Every circuit is sized to current NEC code, properly grounded, and labeled clearly at the panel.

Basement buildouts follow the same process as new construction — from-scratch planning, rough-in before the walls go up, and trim-out when the finish work is done. Many homeowners searching for a “basement electrician” need exactly this.
