Backup Generators
Fixed standby generator installation — automatic backup power for your whole home or critical circuits, sized to your house and tied into the panel with a proper transfer switch.

What this service covers.
When the power goes out — winter storm, summer wildfire shutoff, transformer failure — a standby generator kicks on automatically and keeps your home running. Landrock Electric handles the electrical side of the install: the transfer switch, the panel work, the wiring, the permit, and the inspection.
We install both whole-home and critical-circuit setups. A whole-home system transfers everything to generator power. A critical-circuit setup (smaller and less expensive) keeps your furnace, refrigerator, sump pump, well pump, internet, and a few outlets running — the loads that actually matter when the grid drops.
Common brands we install include Generac, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, and Cummins. We coordinate with your gas plumber for the fuel line connection and with your concrete contractor if a new pad is needed.
Landrock Electric is a Generac Authorized Dealer and Installer, and that matters in three concrete ways. We size your generator to code so it’s neither over- nor under-built. We hold the authorized technician credentials required to officially activate the system on Generac’s network — an uncertified installer cannot turn the unit on. And a certified install keeps your full manufacturer warranty valid from day one.
After install, we walk you through the monthly self-test cycle, the maintenance schedule, and what the indicator lights mean — so you are not guessing the first time there is a real outage.
