Lighting changes how a room feels more than almost any other upgrade. Landrock Electric handles everything from a single fixture swap to a whole-house lighting plan: recessed LED cans, under-cabinet strips, vanity and pendant fixtures, landscape lighting, and smart-switch installs that tie into HomeKit, Alexa, or Google Home.

LED is now the industry standard — it uses a fraction of the electricity of older bulbs, produces far less heat, and lasts for decades. If your home still has incandescent or fluorescent fixtures, an upgrade pays for itself over time in reduced energy bills.

For recessed lighting in existing ceilings, we use retrofit cans that install without opening drywall when the joist layout cooperates. For new construction or mid-remodel rough-in, we lay out recessed cans on a real lighting plan — not just a guess — so the room is evenly lit rather than leaving bright patches and dark corners.

For clients who want more control, we install Lutron Caséta for retrofits and smaller homes, and Lutron RadioRA 3 (RA3) for whole-home new construction. We program scenes, set up keypads, integrate motorized shades, and remain available after install if you want to adjust settings.
